Radio Interview (Podcasts)

Last month I did a 2-hour telephone interview with a creationist radio show called “Sagadii Radio”.  In the weeks prior to this, the host of Sagadii Radio, Brock Lee, ran several episodes that were (not suprisingly) very critical of my “Science and Christian Education” series.  To his credit, Brock wrote to me and told me what he was doing.  We exchanged a few e-mails and then decided to do a couple of shows together.

Here are links to his radio monologues:

So what’s the best way to discuss modern science with a Young-Earth Creationist?  Well, since you can never “win” these types of arguments, the best thing is usually just to be nice.  So that’s what I tried to do (for the most part).  Here are the links to the 2 shows where I am interviewed:

Brock Lee sent me the unedited interview, which is something that I requested prior to going on the show.  There are some really entertaining moments in these interviews.  Eventually I plan to edit them down to make smaller “best of” segments.  However, I told my new friend Brock that I would help drive traffic to his website.  So for the time being, if you want to hear my interview in its entirety, or hear Brock Lee’s criticism of my Science and Christian Education video series, click away on the links above.

If you have any recommendations on particular segments that really stand out, please let me know and I’ll include these whenever I get around to editing this down.  Let me know what you think!

Gordon, both podcasts stop dead for me somewhere close to the middle.

    RBH,

I just noticed that my plugin does that as well. However, if I right-click the link and save the mp3 file and open it media player, it plays all the way through.

    Try that — thanks!

RBH, on an unrelated note - contact me via contact (at) beyondthefir…com I’ve something else I wanted to talk to you about off-line.

    Email sent.

And thanks. I’ll d/l the MP3 to a netbook — the next few days are busy for me, so I’ll be intermittently offline.
