I know it has taken a while, but somewhere between going on vacation, reviewing the typeset manuscript for BTF, and starting a new job, I found time to finish the 3-part lecture series entitled, “Does Science Contradict the Bible?”

Keep in mind that these lectures are designed to raise more questions than they answer, so if you feel restless after watching them - like you ”sort of” see the point but still have a lot of unanswered questions, then you are right where you should be: confused.  If all I had to offer was more evidence for or against creation, evolution, intelligent design or whatever, then indeed - such a battle could be fought with soundbites and data points.  But that is not what is needed to move this controversy forward. 

The problem has never been lack of information, but lack of perspective.

As I’ve said before, the entire debate needs to be re-framed.  We need to start by asking the questions, “What do we really know and how do we really know it?”  This approach is so radically different than the traditional creation vs. evolution paradigm, that it definitely takes more than a 60-min presentation and a few blog posts to start feeling comfortable with it. 

Obviously, that is what the book is for.
